How to handle homeworking equipment and services queries with boards

Due to the coronavirus your team members need to set up a home office. Especially if it’s for a long period of time, your teammates might need additional equipment and services. :hammer_and_wrench:

Whether it’s a screen or a keyboard, a video conferencing system or a messaging app, you need to keep track of all the requests and either supply or advise your employees on which equipment of software to use.

To make sure your IT department doesn’t miss any request and reply in a timely manner, a shared label would be of help. You can set it in a ticketing style and change the status of each request from open to pending to closed. See here how to create a shared label.

You can take it a step further and visualize your shared label with the board view.

To automatically add requests to the board you can create workflow automation rules.

For example, IF email subject or email body contains some of the keywords like equipment of software, THEN an email can be automatically added to your board.
